And now, people are very eager to know which of Nigerian hit makers who put together the song's instrumental.
Burna Boy's usual producer Kel P has been linked as the possible producer, with some people doubting if the beat sounds like that of the singer's day one buddy LeriQ. Again, Telz was said to be behind the keys.
However, we can rightly report that none of the above mentioned persons has a hand on the beat.
Therefore, the Nigerian music producer behind Burna Boy's song Kilometre is Chopstix.
Born Olagundoye James Malcolm, the champ started his music production career in Jos, popularly called J-Town, a city and administrative capital of Plateau State located in the Middle Belt of Nigeria.
During his 2012 interview with Jaguda, Chopstix said he got into business of producing way back from high school. According to him, he used to be in the church band and his school also had band as well where he played bass guitar and the piano. They had a recording studio back then in school so he used that to hone his skills, adding that he was also inspired with the fact that P-square graduated from that same school – St. Murumba college.
Chopstix has worked with lots of Nigerian top artistes like Ice Prince, Mo’ Cheddah, Yung L, Endia, M.I, Skales, Mr Eazi, Victoria Kimani amongst others.
