Where was Naira Marley born?

Naira Marley was born in Agege, is a suburb and local government area in the Ikeja Division of Lagos State, Nigeria.

Born in May 9, 1994 as Azeez Fashola, Naira Marley stayed in Agege till 11 years old and he moved to Peckham, South London, England where he also graduated with a distinction in business from Peckham Academy.

Married to two women and has four children, Naira Marley discovered his passion for music in 2014 after he was encouraged by close friends to pursue music career.

And in 2017, his Olamide and Lil Kesh-assisted hit single, “Issa Goal” put him on top view of the music scene when the song was used as Nigeria Super Eagles team song at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Meanwhile, during the Naira Marley's first official show, "Marlian Fest", which was held at the Eko Hotels and Suites on December 30, 2019, he announced the launch of his record label, Marlian Records and unveiled his first four signed artistes, Zinoleesky, Cblvck, MohBad and Fabian Blu.
