What ‘Made In Lagos’ album earns Wizkid since its release


Wizkid has his ways of making great music with a lot of people appreciating his style and genre mostly focused on making him stay on top for so long.


Made In Lagos is the fourth (4th) studio album released by the Nigerian Grammy award-winning singer and afropop star Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid.


The album was officially made public on October 30, 2020 with two major singles, “Smile” and “No Stress” dropped on July 16 and September 17, 2020 respectively.


The 14-tracks album has production credits from London-based producers P2J, Kill September and Juls, Nigerian award-winning hitmakers Sarz, Legendary Beatz, Kel P, Blaqjerzee and London.


However, months after its release, Made In Lagos has garnered lots of positive reviews and reactions from people all round the world. A prevalent one from former US president Barack Obama picking “Essence” as one of the songs on his 2020 summer playlist.


In the music chart, Made in Lagos has reportedly stood out on top in major album chart platforms such as Apple, YouTube and amongst others.

According to some information drafted from social media, Made In Lagos is said to be only album that has all its 14 tracks on Top Nigerian Apple Music Chart.


The album as we file this report is the only Nigerian album on Top 10 UK Apple Music Top Albums, including Top 100 US Apple Music Chart.


Also, Made In Lagos has had all the 14 tracks surpassed 1 million views each on YouTube.
